PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

How MachScore collects and uses personal data, the choices available to you, and how to exercise your rights.

Scope

This notice covers machscore.com and its pages, including football scores and statistics, predictions, odds, favourites and accounts. It describes processing associated with using the website. External services opened through links have their own privacy notices.

Browsing without registration

You can view scores, fixtures, standings and analysis without creating an account. Your browser and the server still exchange necessary technical information, including IP address and HTTP requests. Favourites and other settings may remain only on your device without being linked to an account.

Privacy contact

The controller of personal data processed through MachScore is Generoso Albanese. For questions or requests to access, correct, erase or object to processing, or to exercise other rights, contact machscore.official@gmail.com with the subject “MachScore privacy request”. Do not send passwords or unnecessary confidential information. We may reasonably verify your identity before responding to protect your information.

Information we may process

Depending on which functions you use, we may process your email address, account ID, information received from a sign-in provider, favourites, saved bet slips, support requests and preferences. Browsing may also generate technical data such as IP address, browser information, requests and logs needed for operation and security.

Data sources and necessary information

Information comes from what you provide, your browser during the connection or, if you choose federated sign-in, Google within the requested permissions. Registration requires the details needed for authentication; other preferences and support requests are optional. Match information obtained from sports-data services is not automatically personal information about visitors.

Registration and Google sign-in

If you register or sign in with Google, we may receive the details needed to identify you and manage sign-in, subject to the permissions granted. MachScore does not ask for your Google account password. You may manage permissions through your Google account settings; revoking access may prevent signing in through that method.

Sign-in and security cookies

The technical cookies cl_access and cl_refresh support the signed-in session and session renewal. They are set when you sign in and cleared when you sign out. The code provides default lifetimes of one hour and 30 days respectively, which may differ under the live configuration; actual values should be checked in the browser.

Favourites, saved slips and personal features

Favourite teams and matches, saved slips and settings may be linked to your account or stored in your browser, depending on the feature. This helps restore your choices and provide the services you request. Clearing browser data may remove preferences that were not synchronised.

Language and preferences

The calciolive_locale and calciolive_locale_force cookies help remember the language selected through the website’s existing Translate control. Other choices, including unsynchronised favourites or saved slips, may be stored on your device. Clearing local storage may remove those choices.

Public match chat and visible messages

If you take part in a match chat, your message and display name may be visible to other visitors. The service may associate the message with your account, the match and its submission time. Avoid posting phone numbers, addresses, sensitive information or details about others. Contact the controller to report or request removal of a message.

Support and correspondence

When you contact the official email address, we may process your email address and the information you choose to include so we can respond and manage your request. Please provide only what is needed. Correspondence is kept for the period justified by handling the enquiry and any applicable obligations.

Connections, security and technical logs

To deliver the site and prevent misuse, we may process IP address, date and time, requested resource, server response, browser information and technical errors. Such logs are separate from optional analytics and follow justified operational and security retention criteria. We do not claim one fixed deletion deadline that has not been verified across all systems and copies.

Usage statistics and analytics

Where the required consent has been given, our first-party analytics may use pseudonymous visitor and session IDs, viewed pages, device category, browser, operating system, language, screen size, referral source and interactions with certain features. This tracking is configured for the production domain. Pseudonymous IDs are not direct names but can still qualify as personal data.

Analytics data minimisation

First-party analytics is activated only when acceptance of optional technologies has been recorded and only on the production domain. Stored page paths exclude URL query parameters and fragments to reduce unnecessary data collection. Withdrawal stops subsequent consent-based tracking; you may exercise the rights below regarding information already collected.

Cookies, local storage and consent

MachScore uses or may use cookies and browser technologies necessary for sessions, sign-in, language, security and preferences. Your banner choice is saved in the browser; some non-essential analytics depend on acceptance. See the Cookie page for more information. The current banner is not a substitute for a full consent-management solution if advertising partners are introduced.

Consent choices and withdrawal

The banner lets you accept optional technologies or continue with essential ones only. You can reopen it using the button below to change or withdraw your choice. The current banner’s Information button displays more information; it does not yet provide separate controls for each partner or purpose. Withdrawal stops new processing based on that choice but does not automatically erase previously stored records.

Purposes and legal bases

We process information needed to provide requested features and manage accounts (performance of the service), protect the website from abuse and incidents (legitimate interests, subject to assessment), comply with the law and answer requests. Where consent is required for non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, consent is the legal basis and can be withdrawn.

Advertising, bookmakers and external links

MachScore is an information service: it displays odds and predictions but does not accept wagers. Advertisements, commercial links or bookmaker links, if present, may lead to third-party sites with their own notices and tracking. The existence of an advertising space does not mean that an ad partner is active; actual partners must be disclosed when enabled.

Google AdSense and advertising services

If activated, Google and other third-party advertising vendors may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on previous visits to MachScore or other websites. Google advertising cookies may allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on browsing activity. Users can manage personalized advertising at https://myadcenter.google.com/ and, when available, through the site’s certified consent platform. Processing that requires consent will depend on a valid choice; actual vendors and purposes will be disclosed when enabled. If the service is enabled, Google and other advertising vendors may place and read cookies or use web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to deliver and measure ads. Learn how Google uses information from partner sites and apps: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Embedded videos and external content

Some pages may display videos or other content hosted by external platforms. When such content loads, its provider may receive technical connection information and apply its own cookie rules. A link or placeholder does not mean the content is always available or that every potential platform is active.

Recipients, service providers and transfers

Providing the service may involve hosting and infrastructure suppliers, Google sign-in, email, security and football-data providers. Access to personal information depends on each provider’s actual role, whether processor or independent controller. Bookmaker websites, advertising destinations and embedded-content providers may apply their own notices when they act independently. Contact the controller for information about recipients actually involved.

International data transfers

External services may involve data processing or access from countries outside the European Economic Area. Actual transfers, recipients and applicable safeguards depend on the provider and contractual arrangements. Where a transfer is necessary, GDPR transfer rules, including adequacy decisions or other applicable safeguards, must be followed. You can request more specific information via the privacy contact.

Retention and security

First-party analytics page views and events are automatically deleted once they are older than 90 days. Analytics visitor and session identifiers inactive for more than 90 days are removed if they have no links to recent activity. Authentication-session records are removed seven days after expiry; this does not mean access remains valid during those seven days. Account details, favourites and saved slips are kept while needed for requested functions and applicable legitimate purposes; contact us about deletion. Technical logs, support messages and chat data follow criteria based on security, context and legal duties; no unverified fixed period is asserted here. Protected backups may retain copies for a limited technical period after removal from the active database.

Security and backups

We use technical and organisational safeguards for access, sessions and data integrity, including backups and operational checks. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Protected backup copies are managed separately; removing a record from the active database may not immediately remove it from backups still kept for recovery.

Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection to processing. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing lawfully carried out beforehand. Email machscore.official@gmail.com to exercise your rights. You may also complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority.

Access, erasure requests and complaints

To exercise your rights, email machscore.official@gmail.com and indicate the relevant feature or account and type of request, without sending passwords. We respond without undue delay and generally within one month, subject to extensions permitted by law. Erasure may require identity checks and consideration of legal obligations. You may complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority or another competent regulator.

Children, predictions and automated decisions

Odds and predictions are football information and are not intended to encourage gambling by minors. AI forecasts relate to sporting events; they are not automated decisions with legal effects on individuals under GDPR Article 22. Anyone visiting gambling sites through external links must comply with applicable age limits and laws.
